QUESTION: 
Do I have to have a Datek account to use your software?

ANSWER: 
No. Datek™ has made Streamer™ access available for free to anyone who wants to register for its use. This may be done on their site: see Register for Streamer™ . After registering you will be provided with a username and password that you can use with SuperTrader™ to obtain Streamer™ based charts. SuperTrader™ also uses the  Datek™ Quotes and Trades page as a data source for additional charts but you must have a Datek™ account to use this source.

QUESTION: 
What will the total price be if I buy this software?

ANSWER: 
Your total cost over time will be your initial purchase price plus annual maintenance. Since there are two initial purchase price options, these costs are best illustrated in the following examples:

EXAMPLE 1:  Standard Purchase - Cost for 3 months is: $65. Cost for 15 months is: 65 + 49 = $114. Cost for 27 months is: 65 + 49 + 49 = $163.

EXAMPLE 2:  Special Purchase - Cost for 12 months is: $95. Cost for 24 months is: 95 + 49  = $144. Cost for 27 months is: 95 + 49 + 49/4 = $156.25. (Note: 49/4 represents the prorated price of annual maintenance for 3 months and is for comparison purposes only; annual mantenance must be purchased in one year blocks.)

Note: Above examples are based on current prices which are of course subject to change.

QUESTION: 
I have the Streamer™ Applet open but when I start your software I can't get Streamer™ charts.  What do I need to do?

ANSWER: 
Datek™ limits Streamer™ access to one client for each username/password. If you have a Datek™ account you can still use both the Streamer™ Applet and SuperTrader™ at the same time by obtaining an additional username/password. Either Register for Streamer™ or open an additional account.

QUESTION: 
I can't get Streamer charts. I have a Datek account and am using AOL, what's the problem?

ANSWER: 
If AOL Parental Control settings are set to anything other than "Access all web sites" SuperTrader™ cannot access Streamer™ content. Streamer™ content is not rated and this apparently causes AOL to block it. Solution: set one of your screen names to the default Parental Control settings and use this screen name with SuperTrader™.

Also, AOL users may have a problem getting charts due to their "Preferences" settings.  To check this:
1  On the AOL icon bar select "My AOL"
2  Select "Preferences"
3  Select the "WWW" icon
4  Select the "Security" Tab
5  In the "Zone:" selection box, select "Trusted sites zone"
6  Click on "Add sites" button
7  If Datek™ is listed, either remove it or deselect the check box labeled: "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone"
